A very historical location that has been extremely well preserved. But, you MUST purchase entry to the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture ($20 per adult) to gain entry to this iconic house.
The self guided tour takes about 30 minutes.
Beautifully restored English Tudor house! Several original pieces have been placed back into the house. Self our around the house, Carriage House and grounds. They do offer some guided tours if you have the time.
This house is an amazing glimpse into the past. I went here once as a child with my grandmother and always wanted to visit it again. My husband, niece, and I went to the Minecraft Exhibit which included the Campbell House so we took advantage of the opportunity. I don't know if going to just the Campbell house costs as much as it does to go to an exhibition too. But it was 20 for adults and 15 for kids/teenagers to do both (the Campbell's carriage house was also open to view). The house closes at 4pm so make sure you give yourself enough time. Lots of different stairways to adventure through the whole house (except the very top floor was closed off). There are benches to rest here and there for those who might have a hard time with stairs or to just sit and ponder the architecture. The rooms are beautiful and furnishings are extravagant. It's simply mind provoking to think about how this house bustled 125 years ago.
It’s our second year stopping in. They do a great job
Amazing house. Try to go with a tour. They will tell you many details you won't know by yourself. Very nice to visit. A lot of historic things. This is a must-visit especially if you are interested in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Great place. Thanks for reading and God bless.
I never knew about this place, it is unreal! Such an amazing example of early Spokane life. They have maintained and restored this house so well. What a gorgeous house! Loved it!
I was pleasantly surprised with this home. I spent about 20 minutes, including walking around the outside. The tour was self-guided, but the staff was welcoming and answered many questions. It is a good place to visit after checking out the art museum next door.
This mansion really evokes the history of Spokane. The docents have so many good stories of the Campbell family, and they love telling them! Fascinating and beautiful place!
